The 8th Annual United in Recovery, benefitting STEP Industries and The Mooring Programs, and in honor of National Recovery Month, is set for Friday, September 30, 2016. Doors will open at 6:30PM. The event will once again take place at UW Fox Valley in the James Perry Hall.
In addition to offering an impactful video testimonial; we are thrilled to announce the return of Mark Lundholm! Mark is a nationally known recovery comedian, having performed throughout the US and Europe, and has been seen on Showtime, Comedy Central, NBC, A&E, and CBS. The New York Times called him "Riveting...Dark and Funny" Mark is sure to bring us to our knees in laughter again this year. Those in recovery will connect with his humor and for those not in recovery, Mark will offer his poignant, yet humorous, insight into the world of addiction and recovery.
United in Recovery is a collaborative effort of STEP and Mooring: the purpose of which is to raise much needed funds, and to serve as a community awareness event regarding substance addiction.
Ticket prices are $35 in advance or $45 at the door.
