The Mooring Programs and STEP Industries are please to announce our 5th annual United in Recovery fundraiser, with special entertainment by Tim Hockenberry, 2012's America's Got Talent semi-finalist and fellow recovery participant. Aimed at raising awareness of addiction and hope, as well as raise much needed funds to support these two vital programs in our community. It will be an evening celebrating the men and women in recovery, filled with inspiration, entertainment, desserts and a silent auction.
Working in partnership, both Mooring and STEP, have helped almost 10,000 men and women since 1982 find HOPE, helped them find a way to live a life without drugs or alcohol, helped them become self-sufficient. The Mooring Programs, through residential treatment programs, and STEP Industries through job training programs, have assisted countless men and women in discovering their own self-worth....their own self-confidence....helped them become self-sustaining citizens.
